about

Based on quantum physics theory and associated sciences.

Influenced by the likes of the slowly progressing rhythms & meandering textures of Manuel Göttsching, Harmonia & Neu!, and the warm drifting synthscapes of Boards of Canada, Ulrich Schnauss & Autechre. Every piece takes a simple theme, and slowly explores around, with morphing polyrhythms and gently detuning synths washing in and out, floating & dreamlike.

In Scattering State, bell tones are joined by a slowly meandering bass, wandering across a landscape of reverberating and evolving organs.
Many Worlds is thin icy minimal house, crystalline and sheer.
Organ-like drones provide the foundation for Spacelike Coordinate, occasionally punctuated by the TR-08's clave, gently circling, before the soft chords morph into rhythmic polyrhrythms, stepping tentatively around the sparse beats.

Eternal Inflation's spaced out stabs float above gently rising sirens and a warmly detuned moog bass.
Soft atonal synths travel on an unpredicable journey in Multiverse Hypothesis, joined by a wonky arrhythmic bass, jumping around the beat unpredictably.
Superstring's slowly plucked chords float mesmerisingly above a growling synth landscape.
Wave Particle plays against a background of slowly rising chords, the lead never piercing but drifting hypnotically in and out.

Shimmering crystal chords abound in Universal Wavefunction's ice house.
Consistent Histories cuts through synth echoes of dark caves with thin reedy chords and a kick that teases but remains restrained.
Chiming chords with soft pads, fragmenting like glacial shards, play across the surface of Omega Baryon.
Indistinguishable Particles bring a growling bass and ringing bells, devolving delibrately into a purposeful head-nodder, steadfast and driving ever forward.
Ending on a mellow note with Born's Rule, a carillon winding over a cosy lulling bass, evoking a summer's evening as the sun descends.

All tracks recorded individually as a single live take, using a Moog Subharmonicon, Moog Matriarch, SH-01a, Arturia microFreak and a TR-08, and a Strymon Bluesky & a Boss RE20.
